BULLETIN BOARD

Congratulations to our 2018 Spring League Champions!!

The Warriors completed their perfect run with a 42-39 thriller over the TrailBlazers to capture the NBA Gold Championship.  Early on it didn't appear as though it was in the cards.  Blazers' standout Alex Hawkins scored nine first half points to lead his team to a 21-15 lead at the break.  But a balanced Warriors attack provided the second half charge behind Andrew Young (15), Collin Skipper (10), and nine points each from Will Rodriguez and Bryce Robinson.  The win secured a perfect 10-0 season.  Hawkins finished with 27 in the loss.  In the Silver Bracket Championship Wizards guard Max Mackenzie poured in 26 points to lead his squad to a 41-37 victory over the Rockets.  Charlie Bratburd added seven.  The Rockets were led by AJ Vollmer's 12 points while Austin May pitched in with nine.  As a team the Rockets nailed five three pointers in the losing effort.

Maryland refused to buckle in the NCAA Championship game holding off a tenacious Duke squad in a 36-35 nailbiter.  MJ Rawlett and PJ Goins led the title run with 12 and 10 points respectively.  Eight BlueDevils contributed to the scoring column with Garrett Alford (12) leading the way.
